Why I Started Candor
I kept seeing business owners drowning in receipts, endless invoices, chasing payments...all while trying to remain passionate about their business. I get it, I have been there too. I would get all caught up, just to have it all pile up again. It was never-ending. I thought — there has to be a better way. So I built one. One that's built on accuracy, honesty, and actually talking to you like a human.

My Background
Small Business
I built a custom swimwear brand. Yes, I designed, sewed, shipped and marketed my business. All while working full-time and trying to maintain my own bookkeeping. Ultimately, I lost my passion for it.
Film Industry
I work as a 1AA in the accounts payable department for studio productions in Toronto. I oversee the department, process paperwork, process payments, reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, complete funding requests, complete cost reports and much more!.
When I'm not crunching numbers, you will find me chasing after my toddler twin daughters, taking courses, travelling or being creative. I'm into complex paint by numbers these days! But my ultimate goal is to write a novel!
