Hi, I’m Tracy Hanes!

I provide bookkeeping services to Contractors and Small Businesses in Ontario.

My financial background comes from working full-time in accounting departments on various film and television productions in Toronto. I loved the work, but wanted something that was mine, so I started Candor Bookkeeping Services!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I love to travel, be creative, ride motorcycles and am a life-long learner. I am always taking courses and love to try new things!

Why work with me?

I love helping contractors and small businesses gain confidence in their finances. I have experience working with many different small businesses, and have firsthand experience working with construction companies. Some time ago, I worked for a condo developer on-site, working directly with trades, and eventually ended up at head office, working closely with the accounting department.

I love a good clean-up job! If you’re behind or feel your books are a mess, don’t worry about it. I can have it cleaned up and streamlined in no time. The worst thing you can do is continue to put it off. Finances never improve on their own; it’s best to face them head-on. This is something I can do for you!

I am always keen to have your financial reports show you as much information as possible. For contractors, this involves properly setting up QuickBooks to track your income and expenses across each project. And for small businesses this could mean tracking by project, sales associate, location or type of product.
