Hi, I’m Tracy!
I help general contractors in Ontario, know which jobs are most profitable.
My financial background comes from working full-time in accounting departments on various film and television productions in Toronto. I loved the work, but wanted something that was mine, so I started Candor Bookkeeping Services!
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I love to travel, be creative, ride motorcycles and am a life-long learner. I am always taking courses and love to try new things!
Why work with me?
I love helping contractors gain confidence in their finances. I have firsthand experience working with construction companies. Some time ago, I worked for a condo developer in Toronto. I was on site, working directly with trades, and eventually ended up at head office, working closely with the accounting department.
I love a good clean-up job! If you’re behind or feel your books are a mess, don’t worry about it. I can have it cleaned up and streamlined in no time. The worst thing you can do is continue to put it off. Finances never improve on their own; it’s best to face them head-on. This is something I can help you with!
I am always keen to have your financial reports show you as much information as possible. For contractors, this involves properly setting up QuickBooks to track your income, expenses and payroll across each project. Your reports will clearly show you which jobs are most profitable. This enables you to focus your marketing towards your most profitable projects, and maybe help you turn down certain projects.
